General Introduction of PVC Pipe Socket Machine:
A PVC pipe socket machine (also called PVC pipe belling/expanding machine) is a key downstream equipment in PVC pipe production lines, used to heat and expand the pipe end into a socket (bell) shape. It is specially designed to process the end of extruded PVC pipes by forming a standard socket (bell mouth) at one end, allowing pipes to be easily connected and assembled in plumbing, drainage, and construction projects. Widely used in the production of PVC water supply pipes, PVC drainage pipes, electrical threading pipes, agricultural irrigation pipes, and other plastic pipe fittings.
The machine heats the pipe end evenly to soften the PVC material, then uses a mold to expand and shape it into a standardized socket under pressure. After cooling and shaping, the socket ensures stable, sealed, and convenient pipe‑to‑pipe assembly. It can produce common socket types including U(or L)-type, R-type (with rubber ring groove), and rectangular sockets.
